Connecting a courier account

Shipments are booked under your own courier account at your own rates, and tracking numbers fill in automatically when you book from an order. Open Settings, then Couriers: each courier has its own card, its own Save button and its own Test connection button.

Credentials come from the courier, not from us. TCS issues API access after their UAT process (ask your account manager; the username and password are your COD Booking portal login). Leopards gives an API key and API password from the merchant portal. PostEx issues a token. Trax uses the API key from the Sonic portal plus a pickup address you register there first. M&P gives a username, password, account number and location IDs. BlueEx gives an account number and API key. Secrets are stored encrypted and show as ******** once saved; leave the stars to keep the value.

Set the default parcel weight per courier - it is required for booking and drives the courier's charge. Test connection signs in with the saved credentials and counts the cities the courier serves; it books nothing. Book one real order in the courier's sandbox before switching the card to Production.

Automatic dispatch

On the Couriers page, Dispatch mode decides who books. Manual means you click Book with courier on each order. Automatic means we book every dispatchable order with the courier you choose, after a hold window you set.

The hold window is your time to edit or cancel before a consignment exists - once the courier has issued a consignment number the order can no longer be edited. Orders skip the window when the buyer has already confirmed on WhatsApp, and are never booked while a confirmation is still pending, was declined, or went unanswered. An order whose items are on backorder waits until stock arrives.

We check every five minutes. When a booking fails, the order stays unfulfilled and shows the courier's reason in a banner with a Book with courier button so you can retry or fulfil by hand; after three failed tries we stop and leave it to you. A successful booking sends the customer the same shipping email as a manual one.

Automatic dispatch creates the consignment and issues the tracking number. It does not promise a pickup time - that is still between you and the courier.

Dropshipping with a supplier

No dropshipping platform in Pakistan (HHC, ExDropship, Yourmart, Markaz and the rest) offers a connection a store can plug into, so nothing syncs by itself. What works is a three-step routine.

  1. Import the catalogue. Download your supplier's Shopify product file and import it from Products - photos, variants, SKUs and stock come across. Archive the products you do not want to sell and set your own prices.
  2. Forward each order. Open the order and press Copy for supplier. The text has the customer's name, phone, address, the items with SKUs and the cash-on-delivery amount to collect - paste it into the supplier's order form or WhatsApp.
  3. Add the tracking. When the supplier ships, paste the courier and tracking number into Fulfil so your customer gets the tracking link.

Stock does not update on its own. Import the supplier's file again whenever it changes: matching products are refreshed, archived ones stay archived, and Keep my prices keeps your markup.

Tip: the phone and address in the order sidebar have their own copy buttons for suppliers whose form has separate fields.

Ad tracking pixels

Events fire against your own ad account, so the data stays yours. For Meta: create a Pixel in Meta Events Manager, then generate a Conversions API access token under Data sources -> your pixel -> Settings, and paste both into the Marketing page.

For Google: copy the Measurement ID (starts with G-) from your GA4 data stream, create an API secret on that same stream under Measurement Protocol API secrets, and paste both into the Marketing page. Add your Google Ads conversion ID (starts with AW-) and label only if you run Ads - purchases reach Ads by importing them from GA4.

Tip: the Pixel ID and Measurement ID are public and safe to share; the access token and API secret are stored encrypted and never shown again.

WhatsApp order updates

Sends order updates to customers on WhatsApp, greeting each customer by first name, with your store name in every message. Email confirmations always send as well, so nobody misses an update.

Messages go out from the Storecrafto business number for now - connecting your own WhatsApp number is coming soon.

Tip: the Chat on WhatsApp button on your storefront is separate: that one uses your number and is for buyers messaging you. Leave it blank to remove the button.

Checking WhatsApp messages arrived

The Message log tab on the WhatsApp settings page lists every message your store has sent on WhatsApp, newest first, and every reply customers sent back.

Each row shows what the message was about, who it went to, when, and how far it got:

  • Queued - waiting to go out.
  • Sent - handed to WhatsApp, not on the phone yet.
  • Delivered - it reached their phone.
  • Read - they opened it.
  • Failed - it did not arrive, and the reason is shown underneath in red.

Filter by Replies to read what customers sent you, or by Failed to see only messages that did not arrive. A row tied to an order has a View order link.

A failure is not a lost customer: the email version of every order update always sends too, so a WhatsApp message that fails has already been covered.

AI credits: allowances and universal credits

Your plan includes a separate monthly allowance for each AI tool: AI Studio for photo editing, AI Writer for titles and descriptions, AI Website maker for your homepage, and AI Store bot for the storefront chat. You can see all four on Settings > Usage & add-ons.

Allowances are per tool and do not transfer. Studio credits cannot pay for chatbot conversations, and leftover Writer credits do not top up the Studio. Each one refills on your billing date, and anything unused that month is gone - they do not carry over.

When a tool uses up its allowance it does not stop. It switches to your universal credits, which work in every AI tool. Universal credits are the only thing you buy, they never expire, and your plan allowance is always spent first - so buying more never wastes what you already have.

Different actions cost different amounts, which is why one number covers every tool. A background removal is 3 credits, an AI photoshoot is 15, a product description is 2, and one buyer conversation with the store bot is 5. The exact cost is shown on the button before you run anything.

If a tool is not on your plan at all, buying credits will not unlock it. That case shows an upgrade link instead of a buy button.

Tip: turn on "Email me when credits run low" at the bottom of the usage page. You get the in-app warning either way, but the email is what reaches you when you are not in the admin.

The storefront AI assistant

Adds a chat assistant to your storefront that answers buyer questions and recommends products from your catalog. Each conversation uses 5 AI credits, however many messages it takes.

The store description you write is not shown to buyers - it briefs the assistant on your product range and specialities, the way you would brief a new salesperson.

Quick replies are up to three questions a buyer can tap instead of typing, offered the moment they open the chat. Use the three you are asked most - "Do you deliver to Lahore?", "What sizes do you have?" - and keep each short enough to read on a phone.

AI language on this page sets which language every AI here answers in - the assistant inside your admin and the AI website maker as well as the storefront chat. Auto replies in whatever language the person just wrote in; choosing English, Roman Urdu or اردو pins every reply to that one. It changes replies only, never the wording AI writes onto your storefront.

Tip: the assistant finds products through your catalog, so keeping products in categories with good tags makes its answers much better.

What the storefront assistant can answer

Products it recommends appear as cards under the reply, each with the right button: Add to cart when there is one thing to buy and it is in stock, Choose options when there is a size or colour to pick, Book for an appointment or stay, Get tickets for an event.

It knows what kind of thing each product is. For a Booking or Rental product it reads your live availability before it says anything, offers a few of the times or dates that are open in your timezone, and can put that appointment or stay straight into the buyer's cart. Every time it offers comes from the calendar your product page uses, so it can only offer what you have left open - and, like any cart, the slot is only held once the buyer reaches checkout. An event is the exception: it says which dates still have seats but never adds a ticket, because every ticket needs its attendee's details - Get tickets opens your ticket page, where those are collected. For Service and Digital products it never talks about delivery or an address, because nothing is posted.

It also sees which product page the buyer is standing on and what is already in their cart, so "is this in stock?" and "what's my total?" get real answers. It can add to a cart but never removes or changes a line - it points the buyer at their cart for that.

It knows your current offers - every code marked Visible to shoppers, your spend and save levels, free shipping threshold and free gift - so "do you have a code?" gets a real answer, conditions and all.

Tip: a Booking or Rental product with no availability set up yet is one it has to refuse dates for - set the calendar on the product before you rely on the assistant to book it.
