Custom sections — build one, or ask us to

When the library isn't enough

Your theme comes with a large library of ready-made sections — heroes, product rows, category tiles, testimonials and more — and most stores never need anything else. When you do want something the library doesn't have, you have three routes, and none of them needs code.

1. Build it yourself in the Designer

Add a Designer section in the theme editor and build it piece by piece: stacks, rows, grids, text, images and buttons that you click to add or drag onto the page. Select a piece to change its options, drag the handles to resize, and double-click text to edit it where it sits. Nothing goes live until you save, and designing by hand costs no AI credits.

The Designer and the premium sections are part of the Growth and Pro plans.

2. Ask the AI to build it

In the theme editor's AI tab, describe the section you want — what it shows, how it behaves, what it should feel like. If nothing in the library fits, the AI offers to build it from scratch and shows the price in AI credits before you confirm. You are only charged for a build that works: a failed generation costs nothing.

The finished section is kept for you to reuse on any page. Custom sections never run scripts — they are HTML and scoped CSS only, checked before they reach your store.

3. Have our team build it

Some ideas deserve a designer rather than a prompt. Open Custom sections in your dashboard and describe what you want:

1. Write down what the section should show and do. Attach reference pictures and links to anything you like the look of — the closer the reference, the closer the result.
2. We reply with a fixed quote for that section before any work starts. Nothing is charged until you accept it.
3. Pay the invoice from Billing, by card or bank transfer, like any other invoice.
4. The finished section appears in your theme editor under a Made for you tab in Add section.

Filling in a Made for you section

Add it to a page and fill it in through ordinary fields — the same picture uploader and text boxes you use everywhere else. Any field you leave empty keeps our artwork, so the section looks finished from the moment you add it.

The design stays with us rather than being copied into your store, which means fixes and improvements reach your store on their own. Your photos and words stay exactly as you set them.

Good to know

• Restoring an older saved look, or asking the AI to rebuild your whole homepage, replaces the page — add the section again from Made for you afterwards.
• A Made for you section is granted to your store. If a grant is ever withdrawn the section stops showing and its settings panel says so.
