Storecrafto

Getting started

Set up your first products

Add products with images, options and variants, and organise them into categories so buyers can find them.

Add a product

Open Products in the dashboard and create a new product. At a minimum you need a title and a price, but a complete listing sells better. You can also set a compare-at price to show a discount, and record a cost per item — the cost is private to you and is used to work out your margin, never shown to buyers.

Products start as a draft, so you can build them up before making them active and visible on your storefront.

Add images

Upload one or more images for each product. The first image is used as the main thumbnail, and you can reorder images by dragging them into the order you want. Clear, well-lit photos on a plain background tend to convert best.

Options and variants

If a product comes in more than one choice — sizes, colours, and so on — add variants. Each variant can have its own SKU, price, and stock quantity, so you can track inventory for every combination separately.

When you add options, Storecrafto generates the combinations for you. Fill in the details that differ per variant; anything left unset falls back to the product-level value. This is how a single "T-shirt" product can carry Small, Medium, and Large, each with its own stock count.

Organise with categories

Categories help buyers browse your store. Create categories under Products, then assign each product to one or more of them — a product is not limited to a single category, so a "Summer dress" can sit in both *Dresses* and *New in*. Categories can be nested, so you can build a parent/child structure such as *Clothing → Dresses*.

Publish

When a product looks right, set its status to active to make it live on your storefront. You can return and edit any detail at any time — changes appear on the storefront shortly after you save.

Once you have a handful of active products in sensible categories, your store is ready for its first visitors.
