Abandoned-cart recovery
Automatically remind customers who left items in their cart, with a link to pick up where they left off.
The problem it solves
Plenty of shoppers add items to their cart and then leave before paying — distracted, comparing prices, or simply out of time. Most of those carts are not lost sales, just paused ones. Abandoned-cart recovery quietly follows up so a paused cart has a chance to become a completed order.
How it works
When a customer gets partway through but does not complete their order, Storecrafto can send them a recovery email reminding them of what they left behind. The email includes a link that takes them back to their cart with the items still in it, so finishing the purchase takes a single click rather than starting again from scratch.
The follow-up runs automatically in the background — you do not have to spot abandoned carts or send anything by hand. The reminder goes out on its own after a cart has been left, so recovery keeps working even while you are busy with everything else.
Keeping track
An abandoned-cart report in your dashboard shows carts that were left behind and how recovery is performing, so you can see the sales it is bringing back rather than guessing. Reviewing it now and then tells you whether the follow-ups are earning their keep.
Getting the most from it
- Make sure your store's email sending is set up so recovery emails actually reach customers.
- Keep product titles and images clear — the reminder shows what the customer was buying, and a good photo does a lot of the persuading.
- Look at the report periodically to see how many carts are being recovered.
Why it is worth it
Recovering even a fraction of abandoned carts is close to free revenue — these are people who already chose your products and got as far as the cart. A gentle, automatic nudge is often all it takes to bring them back to finish what they started.
