Templates
Templates are finished pictures we designed - a stone pedestal, a street-style shot, a sale poster - each showing a stand-in product. You pick the picture you want your product to end up in, instead of working out which tool and which words would get you there. The AI Studio home page shows a featured handful; Templates in the left rail, or Browse all templates under the home wall, opens the whole library.
Two rows of chips narrow it down, and they work together:
- Category is what you sell: fashion, menswear, beauty, fragrance, jewellery, watches, footwear, bags, electronics, home, kitchen, food, kids, sports, and general for anything else.
- Style is how the picture is shot: studio, model, UGC (a casual phone-style shot), lifestyle, flat-lay, unboxing, poster and festival.
Choose fashion and studio together and you get only fashion studio shots - the line above the wall counts what you are looking at. Hover or tap a picture and choose Use template to open it.
Posters and festival artwork carry their headline inside the picture, so read it before you post and check it matches your sale. Templates with a person offer Replace model only where the scene can take one - a close-up of a bangle on a wrist has no face to swap.
Tip: browsing costs nothing - you only spend credits when you recreate a template with your own product.
Recreating a template
Recreating puts your product into the template's scene: the same background, surfaces, light and mood, with your item where the stand-in one was.
- Pick the template, then choose Replace product - this one is required, and it is the photo of your item we swap in.
- On templates that show a person, Replace model is optional: leave it and you get the template's model, or pick one (or your own uploaded photo) to keep the same face across your catalog.
- Choose a quality: Standard costs 15 credits, High 20 and Ultra 35 - each tile shows its live price, so trust the tile over this page if they ever differ.
- Optionally describe one change in your own words (up to 500 characters) - for example "make the background a bit darker". Everything you don't mention stays as it is.
- Recreate. It takes up to a minute or so.
The finished picture is saved to your media library. If the product photo you chose belonged to a product, the new picture is filed under that same product, so it is waiting for you the next time you edit it. Credits are only spent when a picture comes back - a failed run costs nothing.
Tip: on sale and festival posters, read the offer text in the picture before you post it - it is part of the artwork, so "up to 40% off" will say that whether or not your sale does. Ask for different wording in the describe box, or pick a poster with no text.
Generate an image
Makes a brand-new picture from a description - no photo needed. Use it for backdrops, props, banners and social posts you do not own a shot of. It is the box at the top of the AI Studio home page, and also its own tool.
- Describe what you want, up to 500 characters. Name the subject, the surface, the light and the mood - the more specific, the closer the result.
- Optionally attach a product photo from your library, and the picture is built around that item instead of an invented one.
- Optionally attach a model, so a person you already use elsewhere appears in it.
- Choose the picture shape, x1 or x3, and a quality tier, then Generate.
x3 gives you three different takes in one run and costs three times the credits. Everything you make is saved to your media library.
Tip: attaching your product photo is what keeps the item recognisably yours - a description alone invents a lookalike.
AI background
Builds a brand-new scene around your product from a short description - a marble counter, a sunny table, a studio backdrop - with no props and no location shoot.
- Upload the product photo.
- Describe the scene you want.
- Generate, then tweak the words for a different look.
Tip: the more specific the scene, the closer the result. Name the surface, the lighting and the mood.
Background image
Uses one of your own library photos as the backdrop: your product is placed onto that image. Handy for reusing a scene you already shot.
Tip: pick a backdrop with an empty area where the product can sit naturally.
Virtual model
Shows your apparel or accessory on a lifelike AI model, so buyers can picture it worn without booking a photoshoot.
- Upload a clear, front-on photo of the garment or item.
- Pick a model, scene, framing and pose.
- Generate.
Tip: pick the same model for every product so your catalog looks like one photoshoot. Front-on, evenly lit garment photos give the most convincing fit.
Ghost mannequin
Gives clothing a natural worn shape - as if an invisible person were filling it - with no model and no mannequin showing. Shoot the garment on any mannequin or hanger, front-on and evenly lit; the form is removed and the garment keeps its filled-out shape. You do not need a special invisible-mannequin rig.
Tip: in styling notes, name one item to isolate it when the photo shows several. Leave it blank for a clean studio result.
Flat lay
Turns an apparel photo into a clean top-down flat-lay - the neatly arranged, shot-from-above style that suits social posts and lookbooks. Best with a single garment.
Tip: in styling notes, name one item to isolate it when the photo shows several. Leave it blank for a clean studio result.
Beautify
One-tap enhance and retouch: balances colour, sharpness and lighting so a quick phone photo looks studio-ready. Pick the type that matches your photo for the best result - the tool retouches a garment differently from a face or a bottle.
Tip: great as a final polish after removing or replacing the background.
AI shadow
Adds a realistic shadow under your product so a cut-out sits naturally instead of looking pasted on. Soft is the safe default; hard gives a crisp, direct-light look; floating lifts the product off the surface.
Tip: soft suits most products; floating works well for shoes and bags.
Relight
Rebalances the lighting in a photo - lifts dull, uneven or badly lit shots into bright, even product images. Leave it on Auto unless colour accuracy matters, in which case choose the option that preserves your original colours.
Tip: use it to rescue photos shot in poor indoor light.
Blur background
Keeps your original photo but softly blurs the backdrop, pulling attention onto the product. Higher values blur more while keeping your product sharp; 30 is a natural depth-of-field look. Go higher to hide a messy background.
Remove text
Erases overlaid text, captions, logos and watermarks - useful for cleaning up a supplier image or an old promo shot.
Keep product text erases overlaid captions and watermarks but leaves text printed on the product itself. Remove all text strips everything.
Tip: keep product text on when the item has a printed brand or label you want buyers to see.
